VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Nearly 500 Auxiliary volunteers age 15 to 95 serve in more than 20 departments and programs at the Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, California.  Volunteers bring comfort to patients, support visitors and family, and provide assistance to the medical staff.  

Through its non-profit gift shop and private donor network, the Auxiliary raises funds supporting healthcare throughout the Oceanside, Vista, Carlsbad community. In 2019 the Auxiliary donated $70,000 to the Tri-City Hospital Medical Center for various equipment needs and awarded $75,000 in scholarships to 90 individuals seeking healthcare-related careers at local colleges and universities.
